CESINA’S SAUSAGE HISTORY
Our Company is named after my Grandmother Cesina Costanza who immigrated here in the late 1920's thru Ellis Island where she eventually settled with her husband Oresto in Aliquippa PA. She raised 6 children in a very traditional way with a garden and fresh foods when ever possible including a recipe for Sausage that she had learned from her parents, so today we are working with a recipe that is over 100 years old.
Leap forward to 1968 My mother and father buy a small Deli named Chapel Superette it is complete with fresh dairy, meats and other assorted foods including my grandmothers sausage, making its first retail debut. After many successful years my parents, at the urging of my dads brother, decide to open a Sausage company and in 1978 Cesina’s Sausage is created. 42 years later we are still making the same sausage our Grandmother brought with her from Italy. Still made in Aliquippa, PA , still made ALL NATURAL, ALL FAMILY, and ALL GOOD !
